You are all of the above.

Sunday saw the importance of belonging to a church, and a church that can make you feel belonged, which is definitely not something achieved everywhere. And this was realised when i stood away from the crowd just for a moment, to appreciate the closeness and the happiness everyone shared together despite coming from so very different backgrounds, and generations. God is good. I'm starting to realise why God sometimes does things we don't seem to understand for his greater purpose. He gives and take away, but only to always ultimately give to us his best. I've always believed this analogy that i read about.

When an animal doctor cages a sick bear from the wild after realising its condition, all the bear can feel is a sense of hatred from being captured. And when multiple injections are at hand, the bear feels even worse. But what it dosen't see is that in time to come, all these are done to help it. In our case, we sometimes don't see the big picture, but trusting in our doctor's hand is our only best option.

On a lighter note, the afternoon was spent on the dry run for youth camp games. It was fun, getting all wet and soapy on a canvas sheet out in the field. What joy water and soap can bring. I shall let the pictures do the talking.

Today was spent cycling in Malaysia. Arose before the sun at insane 6am to head down to changi jetty to catch our bum boat down to Pengarang. 13 of us, braving the weathers on our bicycles to reach the destination where we would have our sumptuous seafood lunch. Yet again, we are unsure if we had lost anything or even gained. hahaha. The sun was a scorcher while we were heading back and the chilli padi that was churning in my tummy didn't help much. God was good, only allowing the rain to hit when we reached the jetty.

My arms and neck are a lobster red now. The singlet i wore has given me a nice sports bra tan. And i suppose there's some kind of exothermic reaction(haha, i still remember) going on as my sis could feel the heat when she was closeby.

I shall post the pictures if i can get hold of them. The experience was something different. Cycling in Malaysia. Lengths people would go for good food. hahaha. I managed to get one picture though, at the customs with my handphone.

Defiance at its simplest.

Some of us need to stop sinking.

Till then.
