And the week begins after the Week-ends.
(geddit geddit)

First of all, i'm frustrated that i have to change my blog banner. Dang.

So, Sat began with leaders' retreat early in the morning, which took its toll on me considering it began at 10. Nonetheless, it was meaningful having the leadership to gather together, putting our heads and hearts as one in faith for the youth group to move forward. It actually felt like a tutorial for awhile when we had to conduct a SWOT analysis on our youth group. haha. We did put our stomachs together as well, enjoying the sumptuous spread of KFC and Subway for lunch. So, i gathered that change had to start from the inside before the problems outside could be solved.

Headed down to peninsula soon after to meet D and prepare for our amazing race station. The contestant at our station had to choose between wearing the ever conspicuous "contrast jeans" or choose to consume some leafy thing with herbs (i heard there was some tobacco). You see, it was Yanjun's birthday and thus the activity. The choices were just plain "unchoosable" to me and it's times like this you're glad it's someone else's birthday. She chose to eat it, a bummer, or she could have been caught having one leg white, the other red.It seems yanjun's birthday's always the hippi-est and coolest among all of ours every year like A said.

After the amazing race, we saw ourselves at pasta waraku having dinner. Which was actually quite worth the price from what i saw. $16 for a reasonable portion of food, and for me, that's gotta be really reasonable. haha. Maybe the experience was good cause we had a whole private room to ourselves, but i'll be heading back. And just when you thought the celebration was such a success already, there was more. If only all of us were born on 8th Nov.. Blindfolded her and headed down to esplanade just for her to be smashed right in the face with a banana cake. haha. And also to watch the video that jess kindly prepared for her with quite a few of us in it as well.

NO, it isn't over. Most of us headed down to siglap for drinks at some pub, can't really remember, but a nice place indeed. Played a variety of games for the losers to drink the opened bottle of johnnie walker. It was entertaining, i think.

It was a sunny and rainy day where i kicked marcus in the balls where it hurt so bad for him but i loved it and he had to drink a whole big tub of baileys which costs $38.80 at DFS harry potter flew but i caught him but he crashed into an aeroplane and died beside yanjun naked.

And so, the day ended.

In any case, Happy birthday Yan jun. (:
We hope you cried when you watched the video alone at home.
XOXO

Struggling to get up the next day, I headed down to church for service where i played. It's tough playing when fatigue tries to get the better of you sometimes. But when worship settles in, things suddenly start to get better. Camp meeting after lunch has made me realise that time really isn't on our side. Camp is only 5 weeks away. That means exams are 4 weeks away, Christmas is 6 weeks away, and New year is only 7 weeks away! Yes, these facts are real. Time is money they say. But you can only use time to buy money, and not money to buy time. They say...who said?

Headed down to SMU settlers soon after with the church mates for some unwinding and making full use of life. The time with them never fails to bring smiles. Caught sher and zer at settlers, cool job, not so cool pay. hahah. But i guess there's nothing to complain about is there, the place is nice, the job's relaxing and i guess food and drinks are on the house. Home for dinner with grandma. Mum made stingray, mmmmm.

That was the weekend. Monday's over for good. It's the worst day of my school week. 9-6. But there's hope for Monday isn't there? hahaha. (:

Till then.
