Recently, the holidays have somehow seemed to be more packed than normal school days, when i have the time to just sit down in front of the computer to get nagged at and finding all excuses to stay glued to the seat. And then maybe to grab my guitar and get all sucked into the mood only to get nagged at again for playing too loud. Or maybe to find myself thinking of what there is to do because i have all the time in the world. School day issues aside, life's been eventful in so many ways. I honestly can't remember much though, and i hate to painstakingly dig my brain to remember stuff when i can't, so i shan't (it rhymes).
Despite working according to government standards (5-day-work-week) at ubi, i have managed to squeeze in time for my social life with family, friends, band and even my cousin (which i'm really glad to be catching up with). Speaking of work, i am honestly thankful for such a job, or maybe even for a job. While most people are frantically looking for ways to fill their pockets, i am blessed with a job that i don't dread waking up for every morning. In fact one that i can even enjoy. "thefaceshop" is THEfaceshop. I just hope everything works out so i can complete my attachment with them.
Well, the clock just struck 12 not too long ago, and it's monday. No i'm not feeling any hint of the monday blues though i have to wake up in another 7 hours when the sun is still half asleep. Today, is actually a monday unique to hope for monday or much rather the exact reason why we chose our name. We celebrate easter not because of bunnies and eggs (i wonder where all that came from but whateverrr) but because Christ conquered death on that very day many years ago. And it is due to that very event that we can now stand with a glimmer of hope in front of us, because Christ is risen. Pushing it all down, that is exactly why there is hope for monday.
So in case you you were wondering if we were some ripoff from the band "hey monday" or something, no we're not. =) haha.
Ok, my eyes are crying out for some sleep right now and they won't give in to gossip girl ep20 which i've been dragging to watch since last week. I'm off to bed.
