Drum-matic

Easter just passed. And i like the fact that easter is called easter, it's like an occassion all ready to be celebrated by/for the east siders. And celebrate we should, considering the new mall that just opened at tampines. I'm proud to be an easter. Imagine how bad it would sound if you said "wester". Tampines is becoming the orchard with the crowd never failing to appear itself everyday. Everything is available a bus ride away. Everything's good, except for the fact that the people at tampines just don't have the east side look anymore....if you know what i mean.

Sunday is also a day i like, cause if you just say it out loud, it could be "son-day". Poor daughters don't get a day to celebrate. There's mothers' day, fathers' day and sonday. Grandfathers and mothers don't count cause they probably had a chance to celebrate father/mothers' day.

This week marks the end of the really long holidays that seemed really long at the start but suddenly becoming so short towards the end. I guess that's how it works. Part of me wanted school to start last week just so i could catch the good friday (every friday's good to me though, they should call good friday the better friday or something) holiday as a school day. You know, a long weekend in the holidays doesn't mean much, but during school, long weekends like these are sought after. Ok, sorry for that weird thought, hahaha. Still, i am glad that i have managed to make use of the holidays very much to its best. That is accounted for the fact that i didn't have too many of those days when i have to sit down wondering what i should do next with jogging and gymming constantly taking the backseat.

Working has been beneficial in the case that i do learn stuff. I work in the logistics department and most of the supply chain management bla bla bla i learnt in school actually surfaced. The "fifo" theory and so on so forth. Beneficial in the other way, is also the fact that i get paid. Which is good, and i have to say that my rainy day has arrived. JIT (just-in-time, another supply chain management theory, i think).

I have been looking for a set since the start of this year putting che-ching aside. Now that i have brought the money issue in, this set really isn't all bad.

WHO AM I KIDDING, IT'S SUPER GOOD.

- The colour's my favourite combination, black and red
- The toms are not mounted onto the bass drum, sweeeeet.
- The set-up's puuurrrrrrfact.
- The price is reasonable (if you put away the fact that we are facing a recession right now)
- The brand's trustable (according to my trusted australian partner daniel. haha)

- And i'm looking for a drumset with all those specs, what are the chances!

I just have to worry now about the money, sound, space and parental issues. A whole new world of problems. I'm still coming for you mr. pdp, watch your back.

Till then.
